Things r hurtful to others when said in anger or frustration.
Other's feeling is not in consideration when said. Hurt the others as bad as you can is the key. Most of the time it is very one sided and above bias when said.
The other person will have a sleepless night, with both eyes swollen from crying in sleep, and look awkward the next day at work.
This is painful.

Sunken Heart

What is said, is heard;
Inside my heart, I'm deeply hurt.
Tears run down on my face, like rain runs on the window in a stormy night.
Heart sunks, swollen eyes.
Exhaustion from tears;
I need some comfort.
Good night. Good night.
That's how I end the night.

Streetcar track repair = traffic jam

COM
Since last monday, there is streetcar track repair at King & Bathurst intersection. It is said to be done by mid-August. (really?!) And this track repair caused a major traffic jam around that area. All the Bathurst , King streetcar are diverted to run on Queen Street and Spadina Road. Disaster!
So finally last friday I got a chance to walk over to that intersection. My goodness, now I know how they paved the track in the street. They basically dug up the street, place in the track, then pave back the the road. Big project!!
Can't wait till this track repair thing is over. I don't wanna take additional 30mins everyday to work anymore T.T

Summerlicious 2011

Summerlicious time is here!

La Maquette @King East

Its my 2nd time visit this restaurant. Last time I was seated in the sun room on the 2nd floor, facing the patio. This time we are seated at the very nice patio. I have been admiring this patio a long time. Its very romantic <3

For appetizers, W chose the Pate of Duck and I took the Arugula Salad. Since we are so hungry (yup went there right after work!) We forgot to take the pics before munching down. We like both choices, and pate is especially well, my salad is very refreshing also :)

For the main course, we chose the Slow Baked Lobster Tail with Jumbo Scallops and the Vension Osso Bunco. I would say the Osso Bunco is a bit towards the dry side, my poor W need to chew really hard. To comfort him, I shared some of the lobster and scallops with him. The lobster and the scallop is really good. They are both cooked perfectly and very fresh & juicy.

Dessert time! I ordered the Strawberry Cake, while W ordered the Coconut Cream Mango Tartufo. I personally love the cake for its light in flavour & texture. But the tartufo is not a bad choice too. Its has a very rich mango sorbet in the centre, that overcome the coconut cream outside.

It is another great experience at this restaurant. Nice view, nice setting, great food!
